IMMUNOLOGY POSTDOC OPENING!

Overview: We are seeking talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral scholars who have completed PhD or MD/PhD training, to join our lab focused on immunology of cardiometabolic health and disease. Our work elucidates fundamental mechanisms of cardiometabolic inflammation and resolution thereof. We also offer unique opportunities for translational integration of our science, with an active and robust pipeline of well-phenotyped clinical samples to interrogate via ex vivo and in silico approaches.

Qualifications: This opening is ideal for an enthusiastic postdoctoral scholar with a desire to do work that impacts how we understand human cardiometabolic inflammation and its role in health and disease. Expertise and interest in immunology is essential. Additional training and interest in metabolism is preferred.

• Location is in downtown Chicago, at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine campus, within a modern state-of-the-art laboratory and adjacent to an award-winning medical center consistently ranked in the Top 10 of Hospitals and Cardiovascular Disease programs in the US.
• This is a fully funded position, supported by stable funding including but not limited to recently awarded AHA Center and NIH project grants (both through 2028+).
